Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Drayage Customer Service Specialist to support our drayage operations and ensure the smooth handling of container movements from ports to final destinations. This role requires prior experience in freight and logistics, particularly in drayage, port operations, and intermodal transportation.


Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor drayage shipments, ensuring containers move efficiently
from ports to warehouses or final destinations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely updates and
addressing any shipment-related concerns.
• Communicate with drayage carriers, port terminals, and customers to ensure
smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Track container movements, ensuring appointments are scheduled, deadlines are
met, and potential delays are proactively managed.
• Work with internal teams to ensure all documentation, customs clearance, and
port requirements are in place.
• Manage carrier performance, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
and addressing any service failures.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings within the
drayage supply chain.
• Maintain accurate records of container movements, customer interactions, and
problem resolutions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in drayage, intermodal transportation, or freight logistics.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, container tracking, and appointment
scheduling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships with
customers and carriers.
• Proficiency with logistics and tracking software, including TMS and port scheduling
systems.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-
paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate port schedules and shipment
timelines.
