Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Carrier Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal carrier performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact factoring companies to alert them of Apex MC number for both Asset and Brokerage services and alert them of quick pay options with Apex partner Denim.
- Proactively contacting factoring companies, specifically regarding Apex Transit's MC number and the Denim quick pay option.
- Explaining service differences between Asset and Brokerage, and managing the provided factoring company list.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in carrier development or logistics management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
