We are seeking a skilled and experienced SharePoint Site Collection Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our SharePoint environment, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing site collections and sub-site hierarchies within SharePoint.
- This includes designing and implementing SharePoint architecture, creating custom content, and ensuring that the site collection is configured according to organizational requirements.
- The administrator must be adept at managing the functionality of features such as search, recycle bin, audit log reports, site collection caching, and activating or deactivating site collection features.
- They also handle the allocation of storage space, configure search settings, site directory settings, and manage permissions lists and SharePoint groups.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Require a blend of technical expertise and the ability to work collaboratively with other developers, users, and stakeholders to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
- Must investigate and analyze business processes, systems, and workflows to improve the efficiency of existing solutions and platforms.
- Additionally, these professionals are expected to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within their respective domains.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SharePoint administration.
