Job Title: LTL Claims Specialist

Job Description: 
We are seeking a dedicated LTL Claims Specialist to join our team permanently. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) claims from initiation to resolution. The role requires a thorough understanding of LTL shipping processes, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and process LTL claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Communicate with carriers, customers, and internal departments to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Analyze claim data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims and their statuses.
- Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements with carriers and customers.
- Provide regular updates and reports on claims status and outcomes.

Required Skills:
- Experienced in managing claims intake, customer acknowledgments, and entering new filings into the Claims Management System.
- Proficient with federal cargo claims guidelines and industry standards for loss and damage.
- Skilled in managing third-party cargo, and property damage claims, and coordinating timely investigations with carriers, adjusters, and experts.
- Requires 2-5 years of transportation insurance or adjusting experience (cargo claims preferred); LTL trucking operations experience is a plus.
