Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freight Audit Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all freight invoices, as well as identifying and resolving any discrepancies. The Freight Audit Specialist will work closely with other departments to ensure that all shipments are processed under established procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and process all freight invoices
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Communicate with carriers to resolve any billing issues
• Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with established procedures
• Participate in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
• Provide training and support to other team members as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in complete Carrier Billing and Reviewing PODs.
• Accounting experience in issuing refunds, claims, and billing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Accounting Software, and tools like QuickBooks, and SAP.
•  Excellent knowledge of LTL/FTL freight is a plus!
