Precision Resources, a division of The Trimarc Group, Inc. is currently searching for a Junior Systems Engineer for one of our client’s in Greensboro, NC. This individual will be responsible for supporting networks, servers, virtualization, and storage systems that power client environments. Every day brings new opportunities to solve challenges, learn advanced technologies, and work alongside a team of experts delivering enterprise-level IT solutions.

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ IT infrastructure support experience.
• Manage data center and office networks (Cisco, Arista, Sonicwall).
• Assist with migrations using Veeam.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to clients.
• Support security systems, cameras, telephone systems, UPS, and generators.
• Respond to data center/facility alarms and alerts as needed.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Modern hardware/architecture
• TCP/IP networking
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer)
• Maintain Rocky/AlmaLinux servers, TrueNAS storage, and SMB shares.
• Internet protocols (SMTP, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, NTP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.  C2C or candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered.
