Accountant/CPA Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Work with leadership on strategic planning and decision-making.
- Provide insights into cost control and operational efficiency.
Accounting and Compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
Real Estate Expertise
- Oversee property management accounting, including CAM (common area maintenance) reconciliations.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years in accounting or financial leadership, with a preference for experience in commercial real estate or property management.
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
