• Regional Sales Manager - West 

      The Regional Sales Manager will work closely with National Sales Managers to lead and direct a sales team and agency partners to achieve growth objectives in their region.  We are looking for someone to develop, implement, and execute builder strategies for all brands through sales KPIs, organizational objectives, and channel/market objectives that are aligned with senior management. 

      This position will serve our Water Heating division and will be in California near a major airport. This role reports to the Director, Strategic Accounts – Sales.

       
       
      • Achieve regional strategic growth objectives including revenue, margin, expense management, and other objectives as assigned by the Director of Sales/VP of Sales.
      • Grow profitable sales through existing and new accounts.
      • Lead and manage customer relationships and sales efforts.
      • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies as they relate to customers in the region.
      • Develop annual business plans for individual customers and new/existing markets. 
      • Work closely with supporting groups - plumber support and demand generations team to increase revenue and support the regional strategy.
      • Identifies underperforming markets and develops appropriate business strategies to mitigate poor performance.
      • Monitor and report local market programs and pricing conditions. Work closely with the internal resources to maintain a competitive position and maximize Division earnings.
      • Provide input and feedback on products, programs, and overall customer service to Sales and Marketing leaders and other appropriate senior members of division management regularly.
       
       
      • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
      • 7+ years of Field Sales, Business Development, or related.
      • Experience with and knowledge of the building industry.
      • Ability to create and execute strategic plans.
      • Ability to build consensus on key division strategies.
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organization skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently in an independent manner.
      • Must be capable of analyzing and interpreting industry-related regulations/journal
      • Ability to develop customer and area-specific marketing/sales growth plans.
      • Demonstrated skills in business planning and customer analysis required.
      • Demonstrated strong organizational, problem-solving, resources management, and time management skills.
      • Strong communication skills (e.g., business correspondence and professional customer correspondence).
      • Must be capable of traveling extensively, including driving, or flying at least 2-3 days a week, up to 60% of the time.
