Sales Rep - Nashville Job Description
- Minimum of 3yrs outside Sales experience required. Experience in Asphalt /Concrete or Construction industry preferred
- Understand company products and services
- Be a goal oriented self-starter.
- Work occasional nights, weekends, holidays and/or overtime.
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time and work in and out of doors during all weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel
- Must have strong PC skills
- Must possess strong written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Pre-employment checks include drug testing and review of candidates DMV records.
- Ability to solicit new business (hunter mentality)
- Ability to garner new business and manage long term, strategic relationships (account management)
- Drivers License with a good driving record
- Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance
- Self-Sufficient, self-motivated and the ability to work in a somewhat autonomous fashion
- Account Management experience a plus.
- Experienced in estimating and project management a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Establish new customer relationships
- Recommend new business and marketing opportunities
- Identify needs for existing and potential customers to create sales
- Work closely with management to ensure customer needs are met
