• The Controls Engineer will be part of a Controls team responsible for the ideation, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art automated solutions with a first and best-to-market mindset focused on efficiency, safety, and capacity. They will also work on special projects such as development and improvement.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Ensure the MES system is functional for production.
      • Work on improvement projects with controls of equipment and MES.
      • Work with Elec Tech’s in maintenance to ensure uptime.
      • Work with supervisors and other Engineers to problem solve.

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
      • Related work experience
      • Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Excellent analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.
      • Strong computer skills

      • Apply various technical problem-solving techniques to evaluate recommended manufacturing improvement strategies and programs – 5 Why analysis, 1 x 1 problems solving, MTBF, MTTR, and other Root cause strategies.
      • Clearly and effectively present ideas and problem solutions to department heads and plant management.
      • Analyze operations, processes, and manufacturing sequences to make improvements and reduce operating time and cost.
      • Develop requests for approval of expenditures – capital, expense, and purchase requisitions.
      • Robotics Advanced Path Planning and Functionality in Non-Native Languages (i.e., RoS)
      • Vision and Perception Development of Vision Software to Facilitate Robotic Path Planning
      • Industrial Electrical Licensure
