      Our Expectations

      SECTION I: TECHNICAL COMPETENCY

      • Technical production skills are necessary and require a demonstrated ability to effectively produce design and construction documents;
      • Proficiency in Revit is preferred;
      • Understanding of relevant codes such as state building codes, ANSI 117.1, BOMA;
      • Possession of a strong moral and ethical responsibility to the principles of sustainability;
      • Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills;
      • Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills;
      • Understanding of the design and procurement processes;
      • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent field of study;
      • LEED accreditation or interest in achieving accreditation is preferred;
      • Current architectural licensure required;
      • 7-10+ years of experience preferred, with a focus on higher education;
      • Experience with graphics software such as SketchUp and 3D Studio Max is an advantage.

      Responsibilities will include leading in a team environment within the studio, in addition with our Project Managers, Project Architects, Interior Designers, and Emerging Professionals on active production projects as well as contributing to other design and marketing efforts undertaken by the firm. As such, you will play an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm’s strategic priorities.
