The Field Sales Support Specialist, Midwest is responsible for supporting the company's activities and initiatives to increase sales and profitability by engaging Store Managers, Department Managers, and Store Associates. Provide product and merchandising training throughout the channel, develop and support regional and local activities to grow sales and insure proper company procedures are being followed.
This position will serve the company's Water Heater Division, and is field-based within an assigned territory. (Candidate may reside in Chicago or Indiana)
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Work on focus categories for 201: Tankless, Heat Pump, Better Grade Product

Build integrity: POG integrity/ POP and brochures integrity

In aisle PK training review any product issues with Account Manager
-
Review sku mix as necessary and POS data
-
Visit competition stores for any updates or changes
-
Review Contractor Program with Contractor Sales Department
-
Identify sku issues and review program changes as needed
-
Work with Department Manager and Account Manager as needed on sku mix or any other in store issues
-
Participate in Account Events

Participate in Contractor Events
-
Teach and train store team members
-
Communicate new product roll-outs as needed
-
Review any issues as needed
-
Weekly price shops
-
POG Revisions as needed

Follow up on weekly activities call logs and communication

WHAT YOU NEED
-
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
