• Truck/Equipment Dispatcher

      Candidate must have good communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Ideal candidates will be reliable, flexible, critical-thinking problem solvers.

      Some Duties Include:

      • Monitor availability and maintain schedules concerning all aspects of trucking operations
      • Use computers, phone, and other technological devices with ease
      • Determine types and number of trucks needed for all projects
      • Schedule and dispatch vehicles to appropriate location
      • Orders and maintains needed truck shop supplies
      • Coordinate and facilitate resources daily to meet work schedule
      • Be comfortable in a construction environment
      • Have experience using two-way radios
      • Assist transportation manager with supervision of transportation department employees
      • Learn and follow all safety regulations.
      • Be familiar with DOT regulations.
      • Work occasional nights, weekends, holidays and/or overtime.
      • Some travel may be required.
      • Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or management
